Kayla and Jim got married on a beautiful day in early October. They had a gorgeous church ceremony and a reception at the brand new Memorial Station in Belton Missouri. One of my favorite parts of the day is when we traveled to Kayla’s grandparents previous home for photos. It was an old farm house nestled right in the middle of town. You could tell it used to be the only house on bare land before everything else was built around it. This was a special place to Kayla and her family and I loved that we were able to incorporate it into their photographs. Kayla and Jim were both so happy and playful with each other all day long. I just loved the orange and plum colors they chose for their details. Kayla incorporated so many lovely details, like a charm for her grandmother attached to her bouquet, and the hand stitching of the date on the inside of her wedding dress. This whole day was about special people, moments and memories, and you could tell these two were soaking up every ounce of it. Thank you Kayla and Jim for allowing me to take part in such a special day in your lives! Enjoy!
