I just love a bride and groom that can be goofy with one another. Brittany and Kyle have such a fun relationship, and it was a joy to get to capture the unique way they interact with each other. On their spring wedding day in Lenexa, KS, we ventured over to So-Ko-Par Park to take some of their photos. The gazebo and the lake with a fountain made a perfect backdrop. We got to take some fun photos with their bridal party as well as with family members that came with us. I just loved Brittany’s simple short wedding gown and the jewel toned spring colors they chose.
The wedding and reception took place at Simply Unique Events in Shawnee Mission. This event space has it all. Space for a ceremony and reception, a getting ready room, bar area, and an outdoor terrace. The bride and groom took some time to relax with their friends and family before the ceremony, which I always encourage! One of my favorite parts of the day was when the flowergirls and ring bearer came down the aisle. The girls were all smiles and the little ring bearer wanted to be ANYWHERE else but there. It was super adorable. When things don’t go perfect… that is when real memories are made.
