THIS is another reason why I love this job. Jillian and I have known each other since we were teenagers and I couldn’t be happier when she contacted me to photograph her wedding. Jillian and Travis got married in the most gorgeous venue, the Bride and the Bauer in Downtown Kansas City. The details were out of this world! These two put so much love into this wedding and it really showed! From the unique place settings to the custom made poster featuring the bride and groom… and don’t get me started on all the PIES!! They really went all out for their guests! The food was especially unique as they had FOOD TRUCKS stationed downstairs for everyone! People were freaking out over this food!
I just loved hanging out with these two. They were super laid back and you can tell this day was a long time coming for them. They were enjoying every moment of it. I often caught them both kicking back in a chair throughout the day… just taking it all in. I just love when couples take that time to SIT and BREATHE and embrace such a special moment in their lives.
