When I first met Laura, I was enamored by how gorgeous this girl was. I mean, straight out of a magazine beautiful. As I got to know her more, I learned that that beauty ran much deeper. She is a true sweetheart and has a contagious excitement about life and love and art. Laura and Jake both are so full of life and it was just easy to hang out with them. We got to know each other during their engagement shoot in Kansas City. See it HERE! As a photographer herself, Laura was so excited about the artistry and the process of creating images. She shared my passion, and we really connected on that level. It also didn’t hurt that she KNEW what she was doing in front of a camera! (I still swear you HAVE to have a side job as a model and you’re just not telling me Laura!)
Jake and Laura’s wedding day was so special. I could see how nervous and anxious they were when they first saw each other…. and they didn’t stop smiling all day. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony at a park. Everything felt so intimate and perfect. I know as photographers, we see people all the time that are very much in love. But these two…. the love they have for each other is so obvious to everyone around them. Laura and Jake, thank you so much for trusting me with such a special day in your lives. You both have a special place in my heart!
